The Lakonia Hotel is located on the main boulevard of Sparta, close to the statue of Leonidas and the ruins of ancient Sparta. A parking space was easy to find on a neighboring street (and it was free of charge). The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was central, easy access out to Mystras and Gytheio and parking not as bad as feared considering it was on the Main street. The breakfast was sensational with freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs scrambled or hard boiled, pancakes, all sorts of cheeses, olives, yogurt, honey and fruits in additional to cakes.
